While reading the first few chapters of Into Thin Air, I really am enjoying it so far. I really thought it was very important that the narrator of the story at the beginning made sure to explain all the historical information about Mt. Everest and exactly what kind of people have tried to climb it with others.
I really liked finding out where the name came from and also that small features on parts of the mountain were also named after people in their memory.
I'm very excited and curious to keep reading the rest of the story to find out what happened, but I think this was a great way to start off the story and educate the reader on what they're reading before they read the entire story.
